B&C Morning Show: Jets Win, Now What?
The Jets ended their three-game slide last night against the hapless Miami Dolphins -- but for some reason, Craig the Jets fan is not happy.
Why is Craig wearing a frown today, you ask? Well because even after the 24-6 win, he boldly declared the Jets are not winning the Super Bowl, not going to the Super Bowl and may not even make the playoffs.
Ouch!!!
Craigie did curb his prediction by saying his tune may change in seven weeks or so, but as of this moment, he sees it no other way.
With that said, Rex's Gang Green have compiled a 3-3 record and will head into their Week 7 match-up against the San Diego Chargers after a win. Unlike his radio partner, Boomer is not ready to write-off the Jets just yet, in fact he reminded Joe Benigno (who was wandering around prior to the show) that a win is a win. That sure sounds cliche - but at this point that is how you have to look at it.
Boomer did voice his concern about what he called a confidence crisis for third-year QB Mark Sanchez - not questioning his toughness in any way - but rather his internal clock running a little too fast due to the beating he has taken thus far.
So despite the Jets win, Craig was grumpy and Boomer called the game last night on Westwood One - so he was sleep deprived and a little punchy - a combination sure to lead to a fantastic Tuesday Show...
