The Rangers got their first win on Tuesday night in Vancouver leaving the Blue Jackets at the only winless team in the NHL.

With the Rangers back on track in what is a crazy first few weeks on their schedule, all three of the tri-state area’s teams look primed for solid seasons in 2011-12. It’s only the second week of the season, but the Devils look like they are back to to their pre-2010-11 form, and the Islanders look like their young core is ready to prove themselves to the league.

Jesse Spector, national hockey writer for Sporting News, joined me to talk about the Rangers, Devils and Islanders and to look around the league at the realignment issue.
