The Rangers will take their first win of the season and their most inspired hockey of the season from the third period of Tuesday's win over the Canucks into their games against the Flames, Oilers and Jets in the next five days.
After an outstanding 40-save shutout performance from Henrik Lundqvist and goals from Mike Rupp, Ryan McDonagh, Brian Boyle and Marian Gaborik, the Rangers have left the Blue Jackets as the only winless team in the NHL.
