Police Looking For Nassau County Rape Suspect

EAST MEADOW, NY (CBSNewYork) — Police in Nassau County are trying to find a suspect who is wanted in connection with a rape.

It happened back on Aug. 18 in East Meadow. Police say around 5 a.m., the knife-wielding suspect raped a victim near the Hempstead Turnpike.

Police have now released a sketch of the suspect, who was wearing orange basketball shorts, a t-shirt and black, grey and white sneakers while carrying a blue backpack at the time of the incident.
