B&C Morning Show: Dhani Jones, A Michigan Man Talks About The Penn State Scandal And Football

After not being offered a contract to his liking following the NFL lockout, Dhani Jones officially retired from the NFL after playing 11 years in the league.  Without a team to report to, Dhani's schedule is wide open and he is free to do what he wants to do, and today he decided to pay a visit to Boomer & Carton in the Allstate Studio.

Jones has been a guest in the past and seemed to really enjoy himself.  Today he came bearing gifts for the guys in the form of 9/11 Memorial bow-ties (not pictured), which was a very nice gesture.

Having played in the Big 10 for the Michigan Wolverines (1996-99) before being drafted by the Giants in the 2000 NFL Draft, the guys got Dhani's take on the mess at Penn State and we learned that Dhani was actually recruited by Penn State and Jerry Sandusky back in the mid-90's.

With the serious stuff out of the way, the guys were able to have a little fun and find out why Dhani really made the trip to Manhattan this morning, Craig suspected it was to see Dominique again and judging by his response, probably not too far off.

They busted his chops a little bit about the Cincinnati Bengals (the last team Jones played for - Who Dey!!!) and the success they have had after his departure - Boomer's former team is off to a 6-2 start and have one of the top ranked defense in the NFL.

It sounds as if Jones if okay with his choice to retire from the NFL and after some prodding we learned he has never worn one of his famous bow-tie's during a love making session...
