Boomer & Craig had plenty to get to on this Monday edition of the Mornin’ Extravaganza, The Giants saw their two game lead in the NFC East cut in half after they lost 27-20 to the 49ers and then the Jets got manhandled by the Patriots last night to the tune of 37-16.

Craig was pretty ticked-off about the Jets performance, a performance that prompted Rex Ryan to offer an apology to the fans.  As for Pats head coach Bill Belichick, he uttered an interesting (and offensive) phrase after his team hung 37 points on the vaunted Jets defense – the Patriots did get a ‘pick 6′ but you get the idea.

With the win, the Pats avoided a 3-game losing streak, moved into 1st place in the AFC East and left Rex and his Gang with a bad taste in their mouths.

Earlier in the day the New York Football Giants took their act west, where Eli and the boys came-up short against the San Francisco 49ers.  Craig was thoroughly entertained by the game and declared Big Blue a fun team to watch.

We also heard about Boomer & Craig’s play-date last night, which took place at the Esiason household and predictably was packed with countless awkward moments…
