B&C Morning Show: Phil Simms, Who Never Beat Boomer, Joins The Program

Boomer is very proud of the fact that Phil Simms never beat him in head-to-head match-ups when they both started under center.  Craig was sure to remind Simms of that career shut out the real Blonde Bomber pitched against him, just before 9 a.m., when he called in to have a little fun with the Dynamic Radio Duo.

It was the usual chop-busting as Phil wondered why Craig had to fight Boomer’s battles for him and was quick to mention his Super Bowl MVP.  Boomer was sure to point out to Phil that he doesn’t need anyone to fight his battles for him.  Even at his escalated age -he is almost 51 – the Booms still has that competitive spirit running through his veins.

With that out of the way the guys all played nice and focused their energy at the topic at hand, which was NFL football.

Simms talked about the Cowboys’ recent play, as he will be in the booth alongside Jim Nantz on Thanksgiving, when Dallas welcomes in the Miami Dolphins.  They also discussed Eli Manning and the Giants inexcusably not protecting him Sunday night against the Eagles after an interception.

Simms also reluctantly talked about Tom Coughlin’s future with the Giants before bragging about what a good bowler he is and wishing the guys a Happy Thanksgiving…
