Man In Critical Condition After Being Shot Outside LI Bar
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A man remains in critical condition after being shot early Thursday morning outside a Long Island bar.
Police said 30-year-old Maurice James got involved in a fight outside Patchogue's Attitudes Bar and Grill at 1:50 a.m. when he was shot in the torso.
James was taken to "Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he underwent emergency surgery and was listed in critical condition," according to the police report.
The shooting remains under investigation and Suffolk County police detectives are asking that anyone with information on the altercation and shooting call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
