NYPD: Queens Sex Abuse Suspect Victimized Young Girls

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect wanted for two incidents of sex abuse in Queens.

The first incident took place on November 7 around 8 a.m. near 54th Avenue when the suspect pulled up next to a 12-year-old girl in a white sedan. Authorities said the suspect got out of the car and asked the girl if she knew an address.

The victim got into the suspect's car, where he touched her intimate parts over her clothing, police said. The victim left the car and the suspect fled the scene.

The second alleged incident took place around 4 p.m. near 55th Avenue on November 25, when the suspect stopped and asked another 12-year-old girl for directions and subsequently proceeded to touch her intimate parts over her clothing.

Police said that neither victim was injured.

The suspect is described a man about 6'0'' and approximately 40-years-old. Police have released a sketch of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

The suspect's car is described as a white sedan with a green, white and orange or red flag sticker on the driver's door with an eagle in the middle.
