Police Release Surveillance Of Brooklyn Attempted Rape Suspect

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection to two attempted rapes.

Police say the latest encounter happened on Friday, November 18, 2011. The suspect allegedly forced his 61-year-old female victim to the rear of a commercial location and attempted to rape her around 4:10 p.m. before fleeing the scene with an undetermined amount of money.

The victim suffered lacerations to her arms and face as well as a broken ankle.

Three weeks earlier on October 26, the same suspect tried to sexually assault a 77-year-old Black woman inside her place of employment around 12:10 p.m. Police say the victim struggled the suspect fled.rapesuspect1 Police Release Surveillance Of Brooklyn Attempted Rape Suspect

Police describe the suspect as a Black man between 25 and 30-years-old, standing between 5’6″ and 5’10” tall, around 160-180 lbs, wearing a blue and white multi-colored button down shirt, black 3/4 length jacket, blue jeans, black sneakers with white soles and a black baseball cap with white lettering.
