NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The man in the red and white suit is used to giving the presents, but if you see Santa on the street next to a chimney, he needs you to give to him.

For the 109th year, the Volunteers of America is holding its Sidewalk Santa Campaign, a fundraising effort to help the hungry.
