B&C Morning Show: Joe D Returns, Jerry Recco Updates

Craig was thrilled to take a call from his old pal Joe D in Brooklyn this morning. Boomer was suspiciously absent during the call.

Joe D began by explaining the reason he has not called for quite some time - you see, he believes it to be hazardous to his health based on the fact that tempers usually flare when any kind of conversation ensues between Craig and him.

Craig elected to remain in his 'Joe D character' throughout the conversation and while doing so talked about how his 'junk' has doubled in size following his double hernia surgery, dancing naked to Frank Sinatra and why Al Dukes hates the holidays.

After that we heard from Jerry Recco, who made the most of his air-time and delivered an informative update which covered it all, beginning with the Jets - who will be without safety Jim Leonhard for the rest of the season.  Rex Ryan says the Jets will make due because they have to.

Then we heard from Tom Coughlin, who is just thrilled that the Giants control their own destiny and don't need help from anyone else.  Chris Canty talked about snapping the 4-game losing streak and the possibility of a strong finish, while it appears the Giants will be without Osi Umenyiora (ankle)  and Justin Tuck (toe) this Sunday against the Skins.

More from the NFL as the Seattle Seahawks kept their slim playoff hopes alive last night after beating the St. Louis Rams 30-13, a couple of head coaches giving their walking papers as the Dolphins fire Tony Sparano and the Chiefs let Todd Haley go.

Moving right along to the NBA, as the Knicks are talking about changing their image - which is music to Boomer & Craig's ears.  More rumors circulating about Dwight Howard and Chris Paul getting the change of address they both desire and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov has aspirations to become the next Russian president...
