ASBURY PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) – Some big names are slated to perform at a three-day music festival next year in New Jersey.
Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters and blink-182 will headline The Bamboozle 2012 in Asbury Park. The event, featuring over 100 acts performing on nine stages on the beach and boardwalk, will be held May 18, 19 and 20.
The 10-year-old concert is returning to the beach in Asbury Park for the first time since 2003.
Additional performers will be announced after the New Year.
The festival also will feature “The Break Contest,” a competition for unsigned bands with the grand prize winner receiving a performance slot on the main stage.
