When Boomer found out for sure that Craig was not going to make it in today, he reached out to his old buddy Bill Cowher and invited him into the Allstate Studio.  Cowher, who can be seen along with Boomer & the gang on the NFL Today on CBS, was more than happy to make trip to Manhattan to join the Blonde Bomber.

Boomer didn’t waste anytime getting to the burning question surrounding the coaching future of Cowher, with rumors circulating about him becoming the next head coach of the Miami Dolphins.  Cowher quickly put the rumors to rest, assuring everyone that he “doesn’t plan on coaching” and then took it a step further and said “he will not coach next year,” pointing to the demands that come with being an NFL head coach — and how he enjoys the stability and freedom afforded by his current lifestyle.
