Mark Sanchez 'Feeling Good,' Will Start For Jets Saturday

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) -- Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez says he is "feeling good" and did not need follow-up tests after injuring his neck during the team's loss at Philadelphia on Sunday.

Sanchez, attending teammate Bart Scott's charity go-kart event at Pole Position Raceway on Monday night, says he expects to take all the snaps in practice Tuesday and should have no limitations leading up to Saturday's game against the Giants.

"Feeling good, feel good," said Sanchez, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. "Practice all week, get treatment as the week goes, but I feel good."

Rex Ryan said that Sanchez received treatment at the team's facility, and he'll be starting on Christmas Eve.

"I think he's going to be just fine," Ryan added during a conference call.

The Jets' third-year quarterback was injured when he was hit by Eagles defensive end Jason Babin in the third quarter. He was was bent over and needed help walking off the field, but remained in the game until it was out of reach.

Sanchez completed 15 of 26 for 150 yards and two TDs in the loss.
