Police Arrest Ex-Girlfriend Of Man Found Stabbed To Death In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have arrested the ex-girlfriend of a Brooklyn man who was found murdered in his apartment.
Family and friends were overcome with grief after the body of Melvin Vargas was discovered. Police say he was stabbed several times.
Vargas had lived in his Prospect-Feffrets Gardens apartment for 25 years.
Police say Esmerilda Morales was seen on a surveillance camera leaving the building. She is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
