60-Yr-Old Man Dies In Roselle, NJ Fire
ROSELLE, NJ (CBSNewYork) — Firefighters pulled a 60-year-old man from a burning house fire in Roselle this morning, but the man had already died, a fire official said.
The man, whose name firefighters did not yet release, was the only person inside the single-family home in the 400 block of Raritan Road when firefighters were called to the three-alarm fire at 5:19 a.m., said Roselle Fire Department Battalion Chief Thomas Hoffman.
Firefighters, who brought the fire under control shortly after 6 a.m., are investigating how and where in the home the fire was started, he said. It's unclear how the man died.
