Police In Rockland Seek Distraction Burglars

MONTEBELLO, NY (WCBS 880) – After a series of distraction burglaries on Long Island, people in Rockland County are now dealing with the same problem.

WCBS 880’s Sean Adams On The Story

In one incident a woman told a homeowner in Montebello that she had to inspect her property line.

When she stepped outside, that’s when her home was burglarized.

Ramapo police Detective Sgt. Brian Corbert says shortly after the diversion bandit struck again.

“In the same general area, a woman got a knock her door from another woman. She said that she was new to the neighborhood. She wanted to know the area code. This struck the woman as suspicious, at which point she called the Ramapo police,” Corbet told WCBS 880 reporter Sean Adams.

The suspect is a thin white female with dark hair. She had a knitted hat, red jacket, and colorful rainboots.

Police are looking for a possible link between these incidents and those on Long Island.

This is another case of New York City deliberately and ILLEGALLY exporting its crime to the suburbs. Everybody knows that REAL Americans live in suburbs, and therefore, by law, CRIME BELONGS IN CITIES. We demand compensation.

The FBI and DEA fabricate evidence, steal from suspects and use murder to close those bad cases.
Corrupt FBI and DEA use no-knock warrants to enter suspect’s homes while they are away and steal items.
They mostly steal watches, jewelry and less frequently expensive prescription drugs by returning a second time and swapping them with fakes.
Some of them where stealing wear item parts off of cars, swapping them with old worn out parts from their personal autos and in some cases leaving the auto in a dangerous state. They can remove a car from your garage aparently whenever they feal like it. For us common citizens this would be called grand theft auto, for corrupt FBI and DEA employees this is allowed .
They also loosened a gas fitting to my furnace which filled my garage with gas fumes.
