B&C Morning Show: Eli's Under The Weather, Tomlinson Rips the Jets & Boomer Breaks The Law
As we inch closer to Sunday's clash at Candlestick Park, Boomer & Craig had an awful lot to get to, beginning with the ongoing 'smack-talk' - kept going yesterday by Chris Canty, who predicted a 'Blood-Bath' in San Francisco.
Eli Manning gets knocked-out of practice early with a stomach bug, which is an obvious concern for Big Blue. Boomer talked about Eli's unfortunate plight, the importance of practice and hoped what ails the Giants signal caller does not spread throughout the team.
Eli's pass-catching mate Hakeem Nicks has had a brilliant start to his postseason career (2 games, 13-receptions, 280-yards & 4 TD's) and for his efforts can be seen on the cover of the latest issue of Sports Illustrated.
So Eli's upset stomach and Nicks' cover boy status', combined with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie talking about the Giants Super Bowl Parade being held in Jersey this year rather than New York and the guys had plenty to talk about.
In addition to those morsels of goodness, LaDainian Tomlinson went on Showtime's 'Inside the NFL' and had some less than flattering things to say about the Green & White. Tomlinson ripped into the Jets, placing blame on Rex Ryan and Mike Tannenbaum for creating 'that type of team'.
Boomer also came clean about his rebellious ways, as the Blonde Bomber apparently believed the laws didn't pertain to him yesterday (you know those celebrity types) while making his way over to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx...
