Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Of Bronx Man

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An Eastchester man died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds this weekend.

On Saturday, January 21, 2011, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot outside 1808 Hone Avenue around 5:15 p.m. Saturday.

Officers found 39-year-old Pellumb Fusha of 76 Highland Avenue with gunshot wounds to the torso, and a 35-year-old second victim, who was shot in both arms.

EMS personnel transported both victims to Jacobi hospital, where Victim #1 was later pronounced dead. The second victim is listed in stable condition.

Police made no arrests as of Sunday, and the investigation is ongoing.
