Then last week, the officer helped saved another man's life at the Applebee's in Brentwood.

Once again, this week, the 17-year veteran of the force was in the right place at the right time - in Huntington after a man suffered cardiac arrest, and again she helped save a life.

"It is an amazing feeling to know that we can all work together correctly and just save lives. It's an amazing feeling. It really is," she said.

During her entire career, Ferrara said she helped save 12 lives.
