NEW YORK (CBS 2) — Sources tell CBS 2 that authorities are investigating a delivery of cocaine to the United Nations.
Sources said Thursday that 30 pounds of cocaine were received by the UN in their mail room. It was delivered as a package on Jan. 16.
The New York Police Department and Drug Enforcement Agency are involved in the probe.
No other details were immediately available.

The UN is a blight on New York City and a bonanza of graft and corruption. UN employees pay zero tax, and rack up unpaid parking tickets while crowding New York City with ridiculous security details. They have their own post office which freeloads delivery through the US Postal Service. They use US taxpayer money to fund their lavish lifestyles, plus awesomely corrupt schemes involving oil and countless yet undiscovered programs. Of course they need 30 pounds of coke – they work very hard in there coming up with ways to fleece the US taxpayer. They deserve to be defunded by the US taxpayer.

There are exceptions to diplomatic immunity. The home country of the recipient could disavow the application of immunity for diplomatic or public relations purposes.
