31-Year-Old Man Killed In Four-Car Crash On FDR Drive

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 31-year-old man was killed in a pre-dawn pile-up on the FDR Drive Tuesday morning.

Police said a white SUV traveling northbound slammed into one vehicle which then struck a third and fourth car near 84^th Street shortly after 2 a.m.

A 31-year-old man in the front passenger seat of a Toyota Camry was taken to Metropolitan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the driver of the SUV did not remain at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
