Prosecutors: Child Porn Found In Army Recruiter's Newark Apartment
NEWARK, N.J. (AP/CBSNewYork) -- Authorities in New Jersey have charged an Army recruiter in New York City with possession and distribution of child pornography.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray says police found images and videos of underage girls on 29-year-old Andre DeMelo's laptop computer after searching his Newark apartment Tuesday.
DeMelo faces five to 10 years in prison if convicted.
His first court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 15.
