Ron Darling Spending The Weekend Building Homes
NEW YORK (AP) — Former New York Mets star Ron Darling and his family are celebrating Valentine's weekend by building affordable housing in Brooklyn.
Ron and Joanna Darling, and their son, Jordan, will help paint a six-unit condo building Saturday with a Habitat for Humanity team in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
They'll be working alongside future Habitat-NYC homeowner families.
The group says its "Valentine's Build" will go on — no matter what the weather.
