Multi-Alarm Fire Rips Through Several Buildings In Long Branch

LONG BRANCH, NJ (CBSNewYork) - A massive fire is raging through a row of stores in Long Branch, N.J.

The fire broke out around noon Monday in a building near Brighton and Ocean Avenues.

No injuries have been reported.

The fire apparently broke out at a dance studio before spreading across several buildings.

A four-story apartment building was caught up in the blaze leaving several people homeless.

It took firefighters over two hours to bring the blaze under control. Heavy smoke could still be seen coming from the site late Monday afternoon.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
