NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – You would think a couple with 19 kids doesn’t generally have a lot of time for romantic getaways.

The duo behind the TLC show, 19 Kids and Counting are in New York celebrating the season premiere of their show, and getting a little TLC of their own.

Even after more than 20 years of marriage, Jim Bob admits that Valentine’s Day can be intimidating for a guy.

He told People  magazine:

“Men don’t always know what to get for Valentine’s Day…They have these teddy bears everywhere, and Michelle said, ‘Please don’t get me one of those giant bears,’ so I am going to listen to her and take her out to eat. It is really nice to spend some romantic time together in New York.”

They may want to keep the romance in check, lest they go back to Arkansas with another baby on board.

When questioned about the miscarriage the couple suffered last year, 18 weeks into the pregnancy, Michelle said, ”I am feeling good physically.”

“I am still sad in the fact that we miss our Jubilee [the name they gave the unborn child believed to have been female], but we don’t grieve as those who have no hope. I am thankful for everything that we have to remember her. She is in our hearts.”

The new season of 19 Kids and Counting premieres tonight on TLC.
