Now, he finds himself on his way to jail for 60 days.

That was his sentence on a conviction for bashing an ex-stripper in the face with his Rolex watch after meeting her at a Manhattan bar.

His attorney, Joe Tacopina, had argued that it was an accident, that his accuser Sophia Kandelaki, is a hustler who was trying to rob him.

Hartmann said he lost his balance and was unsteady on his feet, and, said Tacopina, he had that huge Rolex watch.

Hartmann wiped a tear from his eye as he was sentenced, WCBS 880's Irene Cornell reported.
