New Food Truck Serving Mexican Eats Soon To Hit City Streets

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One of the first new food trucks of 2012 is due on the street this week.

Mexico Blvd. will be serving - you guessed it- Mexican cuisine.

They truck was expected to debut in January, but ran into some "unexpected delays." This is somewhat of a norm for new trucks -- there are just too many details to foresee everything.

Mexico Blvd's General Manager told us they are still in the process of training the staff, and was not sure exactly which day they will be on the street - but that it will be soon.

In addition to beef, pork and shrimp tacos and quesadillas, Mexico Blvd will be serving flautas, 5 types of tortas (sandwiches) and guacamole made to order.
