Police: 81-Year-Old Victim Knocked Onto Train Roadbed After iPhone Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted for a robbery last week in Brooklyn.

Authorities said the incident happened on Feb. 17 around 11:45 p.m. at the Lorimer Street "J" train platform. One of the suspects took an iPhone from an 81-year-old victim and fled.

The victim began to chase him, police said, before another suspect pushed him. The victim subsequently fell onto the train roadbed. He was taken to Woodhull Hospital and is in stable condition.

Both suspects are described by police as being between 16 and 18 years old. One suspect is approximately 6'0'' and was wearing a black Adidas hooded sweatshirt with black sneakers and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as 5'8'' and was wearing a red shirt with blue jeans and white sneakers.
