MTA Inspection And Maintenance Will Affect B, D, F & M Lines Next Week

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The MTA's FASTRACK inspection and maintenance plan will be affecting the B, D, F, and M lines beginning next week.

That means that trains on those lines will be shut down from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., suspending 6th Avenue service between 57th Street and West 4th Street in Manhattan in both directions from February 27 to March 2.

The planned work will result in a number of service changes, including no B, D, F, and M service at the following 6th Avenue stations: 14 St, 23 St, 34 St-Herald Sq, 42 St-Bryant Pk, 47-50 Sts, and 57 St.

D and F trains will be rerouted and B and M service will end earlier in Manhattan.
