B&C Morning Show: Boomer's WFAN Future; A.J. Burnett Makes An Impression In Pittsburgh

Former Yankees pitcher A.J. Burnett has worn the number 34 for the majority of his big league career, so when he was traded to Pittsburgh and Pirates reliever Daniel McCutchen had the coveted number, it was clear that some sort of deal needed to be struck.  Burnett stepped up to the plate and agreed to set up a college fund for McCutchen's unborn daughter in exchange for the number, a nice gesture indeed.

Boomer & Craig both know a thing or two about college funds, the Booms himself currently has two children in college and it appears graduate school is up next for at least one of his children, if not both.

What does all of this mean?  Al Dukes and the rest of the staff are hoping it is an indication that the Blonde Bomber will be seated alongside Craig for a very long time.

Can you say contract renewal?!
