NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A rash of burglaries in the affluent Lighthouse Hill neighborhood has some Staten Island residents on edge.
At least four homes have been burglarized in the past week, according to a report in the Staten Island Advance.
1010 WINS’ John Montone reports
The burglars reportedly break into the homes through a second-story window and make off with jewelry before hiding in the woods surrounding the area.
Those areas have been plagued by burglaries since the infamous Ninja Burglary spree in 2007.
Police have not commented on whether the recent incidents are related to those heists.
