B&C Morning Show: Tebow Circus To Begin Without Woody, Rex & Tannenbaum
When Tim Tebow meets the assembled media later today at Florham Park - (you can hear it LIVE here on WFAN beginning at noon) - Jets' owner Woody Johnson, head coach Rex Ryan & GM Mike Tannanebaum will not be there. So needless to say their planned absence played a prominent role in the manner Boomer & Craig opened-up today's edition of the Morning Extravaganza.
Boomer & Craig agreed that this is going to be the biggest press-conference in the history of the Jets organization and the fact that none of those guys will be present, is an absolute joke. With that said, let the circus really begin.
One silver lining Craig was able to extract from this nonsensical move by the Jets to bring Tebow in - Mark Sanchez and Santonio Holmes' well-documented, fractured relationship should improve, because there is no way that Holmes wants Tebow starting under center for the Jets. So from a human relations standpoint, that could be good.
Craig also imagined that somewhere Boomer's old coach with Jets, Rich Kotite is grinning from ear-to-ear. Craig is also holding out hope that today's press-conference will begin with the announcement, 'Jets Fans for Jesus & the Jews'.
