Police Seek 3 Suspects In Connection With Bronx Shooting

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in locating and identifying three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting and assault in the Bronx.

On Tuesday around 10:10 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot once by the three suspects, who fired "numerous times" at the victim, according to police.  The shooting occurred in the vicinity of E. 149th Street and Jackson Ave.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his back and was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

Authorities describe the three suspects as young males with dark complexions, who may live in or frequent the area of the Betances Housing Development around E. 146 Street and Brook Ave.
