NEW YORK(CBS2) — New York City traffic has always been a challenge, and now anybody who tries to navigate it on a two-wheeled motorized bike may wind up with more trouble than they bargained for.

Owners of the bikes have decided to Ask CBS 2′s Asa Aarons if their E-bikes are street legal. The bikes are electronically motored, not gas-powered. They aren’t really bikes and they aren’t really mopeds, and owners are finding out that they aren’t really legal.
