Jerry began his first update on a positive note, recapping the Mets’ 1-0 Opening Day win over the Braves.
He kept the good times rolling right along and offered details on the Knicks’ memorable night in Orlando, where they blasted the Magic 96-80.
Getting back to the Mets for a moment as Craig – ever the observer – noticed what appeared to be the Mayor of New York, Mike Bloomberg, out of his element a bit as the final out was recorded in the top of the 9th.
With the Yankees preparing to open up their season later today in Tampa Bay against the Rays, Craig instructed everyone to listen to John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman call Yankees games on WCBS 880 and report (via Twitter) any gaffes the duo might utter throughout the season.
