DEER PARK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – A Bay Shore woman has been arrested and charged in connection with three Suffolk County bank robberies this year.

Jean Coughlin, 45, was picked up by police around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after she tried to rob a Chase Bank on Grand Boulevard in Deer Park, according to authorities.

Coughlin allegedly handed the bank teller a handwritten note demanding cash and threatening violence.
