B&C Morning Show: No Rangers Tickets For Craig, No Clue For Sterling
When Craig learned that Boomer will be out of town, therefore unable to attend Saturday night's Game 5 between the Senators and Rangers at the Garden, he started making plans to go see the Blueshirts.
You see, Craig just assumed his BFF would offer up the four tickets to him before anyone else, but boy-oh-boy was he mistaken. Not only did Boomer not offer the tickets to Craig, but he told him that he never even considered doing so -- and he explained why.
Craig was clearly upset, and for good reason. For one, he won't be attending the game and two, he got a pretty good indication how Boomer feels about him.
Then, before Jerry Recco got started with his update, the guys sent well wishes to a fella named Jerry Cahill, who is recovering after receiving a double lung transplant yesterday. Jerry is a Cystic Fibrosis patient and is a big part of the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
Eventually Jerry got around to delivering his update, which covered a 104-95 win for the Knicks over the Celtics, the Mets' 14-6 setback to the Braves and a Yankee 6-5 loss to the Twins that provided us with a John Sterling gaffe that will not soon be forgotten...
