With the Nets playing their last game in New Jersey tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers, CEO Brett Yormark called in this morning to talk with Boomer & Craig about the final game — and the franchise’s big move to Brooklyn, which will take place next season when the team will call the Barclays Center home.
Yormark announced that next Monday (4/30), the team’s transformation will begin. That’s when they’ll reveal their new logo and merchandise will go on sale. He also called the chances of the Islanders also making the move to Brooklyn ‘very realistic.’
Al in all, Yormark called the move to Brooklyn ‘bittersweet,’ while Craig poked fun at the franchise’s ‘rich history’…
