B&C Morning Show: Gaborik Provides Boomer With Some Late-Night Delight

After their thrilling triple-OT win in Washington that ended just after midnight, it was all about the Rangers this morning, folks, as the sleep deprived Dynamic Radio Duo opened today's radio program in a rather unprecedented manner.

Boomer was actually in Washington for the Game 3 and yet still managed to get back here to take his seat alongside Craigie in the Allstate Studio to talk about his beloved Blueshirts.

The NHL playoffs are like 'mental gymnastics' according to the Blonde Bomber and after Marion Gaborik netted the game-winner close to 5 hours after the puck was dropped, the Booms felt both 'exhausted' and 'fulfilled.'  He went on to describe 'watching it,' 'touching it' and  'feeling it' as 'euphoria.'  I'm pretty sure he was still talking about a hockey game. Right?

Although he wasn't there, Craig managed to stay up and watch the entire game as well, enjoying some adult programming on Cinemax in between periods.

On somber note, the guys did veer off the Rangers topic briefly to acknowledge the passing of former NFL great Junior Seau.  Boomer called the tragic death a tremendous loss to all of those who played against and knew the 43-year-old Seau...
