OLD TAPPAN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Police in New Jersey want to talk to a man suspected of trying to lure two young girls into his car.

Two 8-year-old girls told Old Tappan police that the man approached them outside the T. Baldwin Demarest School just before 4 p.m. on Friday, officials said.

The driver lowered his passenger-side window and called for the girls to come over, police said, but instead, the girls ran.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect.

The man is described as in his late 30′s with very tan skin and short brown hair.
