New York Giants defensive end Chris Canty (pictured with B&C along with his father) joined Boomer and Craig in the Allstate Studio on Friday and looked as if he was dressed for a job interview — which we learned wasn’t far from the truth.
Canty is clearly having a good time after completing probably his best season in the NFL, registering 47 tackles and four sacks — and, of course, a Super Bowl championship. Well the good times kept on rolling this morning as he sat down with the guys to reflect on the Giants’ 2011-12 season, the contract situation of his teammate Osi Umenyiora, the departure of Brandon Jacobs, Eli Manning’s SNL performance, how he does with the ladies, what he is benchin’ and his thoughts on the NFL’s efforts to protect its players.
Boomer and Craig were a little upset to learn that Canty did not extend an invitation to them to play in his charity golf outing, so Craig offered the 6’7″ 300-plus lb. Canty $10,000 to shower with him — Canty understandably declined the offer…
