LYNBROOK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Police in Nassau County are looking for two suspects who they say torched a car at and Audi dealership in Lynbrook.

It happened Thursday just before midnight at Anchor Audi on Sunrise Highway.

Two suspects broke into a 2012 Audi S5 convertible that was sitting on the lot, police said, but when the car’s alarm went off the two fled.

An hour later, they came back and set the same car on fire, police said. They then took off in a getaway car that was waiting for them driven by a third suspect.

It took five trucks and 50 firefighters to put out the blaze.

No one injured and no other cars on the lot were damaged.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
