Gotham Gossipist: Pauly D To Launch Line Of Vodka-Based Beverages

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- When it comes to endorsing products, there are few things I would trust the cast of the Jersey Shore on.

Luckily for Pauly D, alcohol may just be one of them.

According to  TMZ, Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio is gearing up to launch his own line of vodka-based beverages.

The ready-to-drink pre-packaged cocktail, REMIX, is geared toward the "pre-game" market.  If you want to get drunk before you go out to get drunk, Pauly D has got your back.

Reportedly, Pauly D. has partnered with Skinnygirl Margarita co-creator David Kanbar.

When Kanbar brought Remix to the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America convention in Las Vegas last month, the new kid on the liquor sales block outsold it's predecessor, selling more cases than Skinnygirl had in the last year.

Looks like DJ Pauly D may never have to spin another record (or press 'play' on iTunes) ever again.
