If you listened to last night’s Yankees-Blue Jay game on WCBS 880, you may have been a little confused when Suzyn Waldman introduced the man doing the play-by-play as John Sterns, not John Sterling.
No reason for alarm, Sterling’s consecutive streak (which is somewhere between 3,500-4,000 straight games in the booth) is still intact. It turns out – to Craig’s delight – that the savvy sportscasting veteran Waldman just got a little confused…
