Police: Man Tried To Rape 57-Year-Old Woman In Brooklyn Home
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted in connection with the attempted rape of a woman in her Brooklyn home.
Around 3 a.m. Thursday, the suspect, who is believed to be in his 40s, knocked on the front door of the victim's home and walked in when she opened it, police said.
The man then tried to rape the 57-year-old woman but fled when a family member interrupted the attack, police said.
The suspect is about 5-feet-8-inches tall and approximately 170 pounds, police said.
