NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - New York Giants football legend and Hall of Famer Harry Carson has a warning to parents of athletes.

Don’t ignore head injuries because concussions can have long-term consequences.

“There were periods when I would forget what I was talking about when I was being asked¬†a question,” he told CBS2’s Dr. Max Gomez. “There were times when I was dealing with little bouts of depression.”
