Police Believe They Have Recovered The Remains Of Swimming Teenager From Paterson

LONG BRANCH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - Police believe that they have recovered the body of a Paterson teenager who went missing while swimming last weekend.

They are working to identify remains that were found on Saturday.

The Coast Guard had been looking for 17-year-old Rudy Mena since he disappeared off Long Branch last Sunday.

Friends told police that Mena went under water when he was hit by a wave, and he never resurfaced.
