NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A nearly five-minute-long video featuring stunning time-lapse photography of Manhattan has been making its way around the Internet.

The video, called “The Manhattan Project,” (not to be confused with the project that created the atomic bomb) was created by photographer Cameron Michael.

One of the cool things about this video is that the camera moves each time a new photograph is taken. The music is also really catchy.

“This time-lapse production has been a wild and exhilarating ride, with a lot of physical work lugging my 120-130 pounds of gear around all of Manhattan,” Michael wrote on the video’s page on Vimeo. “I bent (broke) some laws and made a ton of friends.”

His hope was that the video would get shared around the world. It’s well on its way. It has thousands of likes and dozens of comments on Vimeo.

Here it is. Enjoy.
